Bar/Bat Mitzvah Projects

Melly Stiel As many of you are aware, I will be celebrating my Bat Mitzvah on May 31, 2008. I have chosen the task of fundraising for the Whitwell Tennessee Middle School as my “Mitzvah Project.” Linda Hooper (Principal) who was featured in the movie has spoken to my dad and informed us that the school has a fundraising goal of $35,000.00 in order to construct a small building (in addition to the railcar) to house the thousands of Contributed Materials.

No donation is too big or too small. Additionally, they are making DVD’s of the original move available to us for $10.00 per copy. No family should be without a copy of this movie.

Donations may be sent to:

Melly Stiel 190 Skyline Lakes Drive Ringwood, NJ 07456

Papal donations may be sent to Marks@nji.com

The Whitwell Middle School has taught the entire world a lesson…..One Classroom at a time. Thank you for helping me to help them.
Brandon Pickail For my bar mitzvah project I decided to work for an animal shelter.

First I wanted to work at the Oakland Animal shelter donating time to the cats, but they said that I was to young. So then, I went looking around for other near animal shelters, and the closest I found was the Bloomingdale Animal Shelter. There, I asked to donate time, and I was still to young.

So I thought of donating food to the Bloomingdale Shelter. Now, I donated at least 15 animal supplies, and I still have more to donate. And next year I hope to donate food again.
